Wild Rose Photography is a portrait studio in Escondido, California. Owners Paul and Sherry Rose work hard to make their customers happy--they retouch every portrait (if you want to keep a favorite mole because it's become an integral part of you, or if you want to keep those crow's feet to better show your friendly personality and your maturity, you'd better tell Paul), they offer immediate image selection and quick printing, and they make you laugh. Many people tell them their portrait sessions were the most fun they've ever had while being shot.

A few years ago, when we at Wild Rose Photography were thinking about setting up our own studio, one of us commented that, while food and shelter are essential to survival, photographs are not. But we were wrong. People’s memories are essential, too. Every time we at Wild Rose Photography work at a wedding or reunion we do it again—we create the images that people glance at from time to time to remind themselves of who they are and where they come from, to help them remember more clearly who treasured them when they were small, who guided them as they grew up, and who loved them until the end of their days. 

At Wild Rose Photography every portrait is important, every group shot is critical, every smile, every hug is what life is all about. We employ the best cameras, the best printers, and the best archival papers and inks; and we employ skilled retouchers who use the most care. Our work is economical, as you will see from our prices; but we are content with our prices as they are, because we know that what we do is important.
