Welcome Seniors and Graduates

Call us for your senior and family pictures. We have moved the studio to historic Old Escondido, where we can capture your likeness both indoors and out.  We also do sessions in various remote sites-- the beach, for example, or in parks, your home, or anywhere you choose.

Sessions

The photo session fees below are for one person.  Add $5 for each additional person.

BASIC:  This is a sixty-minute session.  These photos are at the studio, both indoors and outdoors, with changes of clothes if desired.  $45 

DELUXE:  Our Deluxe session can last up to two hours, with indoor and outdoor sessions, and as many changes of clothes as desired. $175

REMOTE SESSION FEE:   A remote session fee, $115, can be added to the Basic or Deluxe session fee for a shoot at a remote site. We know of a number of pretty and dramatic places at the beach and in several parks. Maybe you can show us some new ones. 

The Selection Process

Our customers select the images they want to have printed during a selection session. Although this can be, and usually is, right after the shoot, we can schedule it for some other day.  We normally use Photoshop to display the pictures. Although Photoshop is a huge program and is somewhat slow at displaying images on the monitor, it has several advantages over other image display software. If you think you might like a picture if it were a little brighter or darker, we simply change it before your eyes. If you usually like your left side more than your right but you happen to have a champion zit on your left cheek, we remove the pimple and you no longer have to do the mental gymnastics required to keep yourself from seeing the offending eruption. We charge $30 per image selected for printing.  $5

Prints: 

We charge $20 per sheet. A "sheet" is equivalent to an 8x10, 2 5x7s, 3 4x6es, 4 4x5s, or 8 wallets. An 11x14 consists of 2 sheets, a 16x20 is 4 sheets, a 20x24 is 6 sheets, and so forth.

Retouching:

All selected images are retouched at no charge. Also, they can optionally be printed in black and white or sepia if desired—again at no extra cost. All photo sessions include as many exposures as are required to be confident of a perfect image in each pose.

Online Proofing:

This $50 option is not necessarily recommended. Not only does this method lack the advantages described above for Photoshop, but it also shows you images at a much lower resolution. Two pictures that are almost identical on our computer may look the same on your computer.

CDs:

A CD containing all of the digital images made during the session is $500 if purchased alone.  With a purchase of more than $300 of prints it is $200 and with a purchase of $600 it free.
