Occasionally, when Paul Rose gets out of hand, his portrait sessions have to be called on account of laughter; but portraits are not trivial to him, and he works hard and uses all his skill to make sure his clients are delighted with their images.
Portraits
If you have a chance, you should stop in and check out the studio. It's in a hundred-year-old craftsman bungalow with lots of personality. It's a great place, one where you can relax, where you and the photographer can concentrate on a head shot that makes you look friendly, intelligent, forceful, and interesting, and where your family can pose for that big portrait for over the fireplace. In fact, it's the ideal place to perform the very personal act of presenting oneself to the world.
When Escondido businessman Ray Suttles was running for city council, he stopped in for some head shots. Of course, since Ray was running for city council, Ray's wife Freddie was running for city council, too. Here they are.
Similarly, when little Evan Andrew was seeking a position as apple of his mommy's eye, he, too, came by for a portrait. He figured there was always room for one more photo of him on the mantel. Here he is with one of his friends.
Evan Andrew apparently enjoyed his photo session, for, when he exited the studio with his mommy, he was still smiling.
