Weddings

Wedding photography is truly exciting because, although every wedding contains the same pieces, such as the bride's posing with her bride's maids, each is unique. At Wild Rose Photography we work hard to capture the expected and the unexpected parts of weddings.

Every bride wants to show off her beautiful gown and her handsome new husband. This time even the bubbles were cooperative.

We always get the big and small groups who come to weddings. The larger the group, the more fun we have.

Some groups are closer than others--for example, Daddy and his little girl.

Among the photo ops that always present themselves at weddings is the kiss. Some kisses are matter-of-fact, business-line little pecks. Others have a dream-like quality.

Another enjoyable part of a wedding is when the formal ceremony is over and the real fun begins.

When the dancing starts, it's often amazing just how well some of those people dance.

While dancing is always fun, if you're starting a new life with a new family that you love intensely, dancing can be joy itself.

Of course, at some weddings there are also the games.

And sometimes there are weddings where the bride is very nervous and imagines herself marching over a cliff. At this particular wedding, however, she stopped before she came to the cliff.

When she arrived at the cliff, there were four nice young men waiting for her. (Four young men with extremely dusty shoes.)

She found that she liked one of the dusty-shod young men so much that she married him. Then she stood on the cliff beside him. And the photographer simply could not keep himself from saying, "Just one step back, please."

And after the wedding, of course, there are all those wedding presents!
